How much water will it use?

Is this project expected to replace the Dave Johnston power plant?
No. Rolling Cedar is not owned by PacifiCorp and is not intended to replace generation at the Dave Johnston Power Plant. Rather, the project is being developed to complement existing power resources, including renewables, by providing reliable generation that supports grid stability, energy affordability, and future growth in electricity demand across the region.
